AOSP: Error creating instance of a SystemService in Activity.java - android-activity

I have added a custom system-service to AOSP. I wanted to make use of my service in Activity.java class and wanted to do some changes in startActivityForResult() method. The same way I want to create an instance to PackageManagerService. But for some reason I cannot get this running, I get the following errors from logcat:

How I can make an instance of services in Activity.java. Also is there a systemReady() kind of method in Activity.java, I know there is such kind of method in PackageManagerService, but that is a service where as Activity is not. So wondering what would be the best way to check it. Any thoughts appreciated

This was because of the dex opt signature mismatch for SettingsProvider.apk For testing purposes I was able to get around this issue by disabling this check achieved by setting the below env variables:
export WITH_DEXPREOPT=false
export DISABLE_DEXPREOPT=true

Vert.x Infinispan getting "failed sending discovery request to /228.6.7.8:46655"

I'm running the Chapter 3 Infinispan example from Julien Ponge's book "Vert.x In Action" on MacOS 11.3.
https://github.com/jponge/vertx-in-action/tree/master/chapter3
public class FirstInstance {
private static final Logger logger = LoggerFactory.getLogger(FirstInstance.class);
public static void main(String[] args) {
Vertx.clusteredVertx(new VertxOptions(), ar -> {
if (ar.succeeded()) {
logger.info("First instance has been started");
Vertx vertx = ar.result();
vertx.deployVerticle("chapter3.HeatSensor", new DeploymentOptions().setInstances(4));
vertx.deployVerticle("chapter3.HttpServer");
} else {
logger.error("Could not start", ar.cause());
}
});
}
}
After downloading the sample code, inside the chapter3 folder I do
./gradlew run -PmainClass=chapter3.cluster.FirstInstance -Pjvmargs="-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true"
This results in
failed sending discovery request to /228.6.7.8:46655
This is working in Windows. I wonder if there is an issue with MacOS multicasting? I tried following these steps to enable multicasting but still get the same error: https://blogs.agilefaqs.com/2009/11/08/enabling-multicast-on-your-macos-unix/
Full output:
News-MacBook-Pro:chapter3f newuser$ ./gradlew run -PmainClass=chapter3.cluster.FirstInstance

Adds a multicast route for 224.0.0.1-231.255.255.254:
sudo route add -net 224.0.0.0/5 127.0.0.1
Adds a multicast route for 232.0.0.1-239.255.255.254
sudo route add -net 232.0.0.0/5 192.168.1.3
So for 230.0.0.0 I bind to 192.168.1.3

Getting started with keycloak and kubernetes

I am trying to run keycloak on kubernetes so I follow this example on my kubernetes cluster. But when I run command:
kubectl create -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/keycloak/keycloak-quickstarts/latest/kubernetes-examples/keycloak.yaml
I got database error after 2 minutes. Why I can not run this simple example without error ?

00:17:39,573 FATAL [org.keycloak.services] (ServerService Thread Pool -- 66) Error during startup: java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to connect to database
your error is clearly informing keylock is trying to connect with the database but can't get it there might be an issue with your configuration file or environment you are passing.
You can try this out : https://github.com/harsh4870/Keycloack-postgres-kubernetes-deployment
let me know if these files don't work. it's not for a production use case but you can use it for setting up the dev environment.

WildFly randomly fails to load module when starting

Using WildFly 14.0.1 in standalone mode within a Windows-based Docker container it randomly fails to start. It complains about different modules, but sometimes runs correctly. More often than not it fails.
The error reported generally is between loading the following modules:
* org.wildfly.extension.batch.jberet
* org.wildfly.extension.elytron
* org.wildfly.extension.bean-validation
* org.wildfly.extension.messaging-activemq
* org.wildfly.extension.request-controller
And in multiple executions to get this list it worked correctly once.
I've tried essentially the same setup on my host computer, using the same configuration files and it works reliably.
An example error:

When it does work, it begins to deploy the applications waiting in the deployments directory and starts up correctly.
