Does anyone have some tips where to look, as to why Studio might not work? I can access the database via the console, but when I try to access Studio, I get a redirect and then a 404. So my server is up, but Studio seems broken.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue, then I found that Studio is delivered as zip file (in %ORIENTDB_HOME%/plugins/studio-2.1.zip) and there is no studio directory in %ORIENTDB_HOME%/www (where default index redirects when accessing Studio). I've unpacked www directory from studio-2.1.zip into %ORIENTDB_HOME%/www, renamed it to studio and now it's working.
I have OrientDB installed as Windows service (service is starting automatically and was running when I tried to access Studio).

I am trying to Deploy Acumatica Framework Tools using the Framework Configuration Wizard and I getting the following error:
Exception occurred while installing resources.
Inner Exception:
Can't find the Visual Studio template items location.
I have Visual Studio 2017 Enterprise running on Windows 10 Pro. Both are up to date.
Any ideas on how to correct this. I’m going to the Acumatica Summit next week and need to do the T100 and T200 course.
Thanks
Tom
The wizard is likely looking for the VS2015 registry folder. Until installers are fixed to check in the VS2017 location I recommend you create the VS2015 registry folders with these 4 dummy string keys pointing to VS2017 folder.
The key values in the picture below point to the default VS2017 folders. I tested this workaround a couple months ago on a colleague computer and we experience no ill effects:
I faced the same problem, but I could not change my registry due to company policy. My regedit.exe was unavailable:
So, to fix this issue I installed Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition .
That fixed the issue.
Do not forget to restart your computer after installation, otherwise - you will get the same error. If you solve this problem with installation of VS2015, you will be able to use Visual Studio Template
in VS2015 only. It will not be available in other versions of Visual Studio.
Where is the Odoo Studio code? Is it part of the Odoo Enterprise code on Github (which I have access to)?
Is there something I need to enable or add to the project so I see the Studio?
Currently when I run the Odoo Community code, (with the addons path in odoo.conf set correctly first to the enterprise directory) I see no Studio option in the header.
So two questions:
Where is the Studio code and how do I access it?
What do I need to do so I see it, when running the Odoo code from Eclipse?
1) Studio code is the one of the module inside the Odoo Enterprise addons with named "web_studio". For that you need the access of the Enterprise addons.
2) After installing the module web_studio you can get the one icon on top right corner before logged in user name like tools with tool tip "Customization". By clicking on that you can start the Studio for manage any changes inside the current screen.
I hope you are getting both of the answer correct fully.
I want to deploy my driver for testing. I have provisioned my target computer for testing (although this shouldn't matter because I am not even at that step yet). On my host computer I open Visual Studio and go to
Driver > Test > Configure Devices
and immediately an error window saying:
Inappropriate request for export from part that belongs to another sharing boundary.
This looks like a bug in my Visual Studio (I have just recently updated to VS Update 1).
I am going to uninstall and reinstall since I have already tried repair. Any other ideas?
UPDATE: Uninstall and Reinstall didn't work. The bug is documented on Microsoft Connect: Fails to load Configure Devices (Closed)
I was successfully able to configure and provision a new device using the following method:
Project properties
Debugging
Remote Computer Name, drop down and select Configure...
Successfully shows the device configuration wizard, and was able to provision the target computer.
Was then able to select the target in Driver Install - Deployment, however I get the following error when selecting "Deploy". This could be related to my project tho, please let me know if you also see this.
Please select a valid target machine for deployment from the project property page
UPDATE: the above error may have simply been that I had the wrong configuration selected when hitting Deploy.
I just applied Update 1 to VS2015 Pro and am now getting the exact same error. It happens regardless of whether I make a new project or use my old 2015 Project. Looks like it's a bug in the update.
Not really a fix, but I went back to Visual Studio 2013, as it does not have this bug, and driver dev is working great.
I had the message:
Please select a valid target machine for deployment from the project property page
I was using the wrong architecture in the configuration properties for the project. My target test box is x64 and I had my configuration set to win32. Changing this to x64 fixed the issue for me.
The Studio documentation page on the orientechnologies.com site states that databases can be dropped using Studio:
Select a database from the databases list and click the trash icon. Studio will open a confirmation popup where you have to insert [credentials.]
The studio zip file that ships with 1.7.10 is studio-1.7.8.zip. I've gone through Studio with a number of databases and I haven't seen any Trash icons anywhere. Am I missing something?
The Studio documentation page states that:
This is the new Studio 2.0 Homepage.
I thought I saw an Issue stating that database drop capability was added in late August. Is it supported in studio 1.7.8?
I suppose I could try unpacking the studio zip file from the 2.0 M3 distribution. Has anyone tried that?
Studio 1.7.x does not have such feature.
You can try to take the studio of 2.0 M3 distribution. Not all feature will work
like downloading databases from the cloud and other. But the basic features like dropping db should work.
Never tried that
When eclipse tries to reconnect to TFS (username.visualstudio.com) the 'authentication window' is replaced by a window that seems to describe available services and the authentication process stops here.
The content of this window is as follows:
LocationWebService
The following operations are supported. For a formal definition, please review the Service Description.
ConfigureAccessMapping
Connect
QueryServices
RemoveAccessMapping
RemoveServiceDefinitions
SaveServiceDefinitions
SetDefaultAccessMapping
With VS2010 I can still connect to TFS without problems.
Also, both with eclipse and VS2010 I can connect to codeplex (tfs).
Clearing cookies and/or cache from IE or Chrome doesn't help.
Everything is fresh installed, so I assume it's up to date.
How can I resolve this issue with Eclipse - TFS - username.visualstudio.com?
I had to reinstall the 2013 version (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40785) and everything started working. It's either a bug in an older version or mismatch with the server version being connected to.
I have this issue too. It only happens when I try to connect myuser.visualstudio.com, with my domain TFS it can authenticate without any problem.
I see that you are running Windows 7, in my case the eclipse TFS stop working with Windows 8.
