XCode 8.0 Console gives incomplete API response while running on Devices - iphone

I got incomplete API response in console of XCode 8.0 while I running my project on devices (here with I attached the incomplete response that I got). Although I got correct response while running simulators.
How can I fix it?

Smart Home - Correct JSON to respond to EXECUTE when device is offline

When i try to execute a command and that the device is offline, Assistant still tell me that the command as been successfully be done.
I don't have this problem when it's a QUERY request, but with EXECUTE...
This is my returned JSON:
{
"requestId": "XXXXXX",
"payload": {
"commands": [
{
"ids": [123],
"status": "ERROR",
"errorCode": "deviceTurnedOff",
"online": false
}
]
}
}
I have also try this:
{
"requestId": "XXXXXX",
"payload": {
"commands": [
{
"ids": [123],
"status": "OFFLINE",
"errorCode": "deviceTurnedOff",
"online": false
}
]
}
}
I expect that when i try to do a command on an offline device, google assistant tell me that the device is not available, but i have a Ok, i turn the light on instead.
So if you have any idea, because i have checked my JSON response 1 million times and read the documentation many times but i can't find my mistake.
The documentation here is a bit confusing because the example shows the response payload for the QUERY intent.
The response payload for an EXECUTE intent is slightly different and is documented here.
The JSON using the correct reference the EXECUTE response payload will look like:
{
"requestId": "XXXXXX",
"payload": {
"commands": [{
"ids": ["123"],
"status": "OFFLINE",
"errorCode": "deviceTurnedOff"
}]
}
}
Note: deviceId should be a string, as noted in the EXECUTE Response payload details.
Quoting from the doc:
ids: Array. Required. Partner device IDs of the response

Creating a domain in Plesk's REST API

So, experimenting with Plesk's REST API (available as of version 17.8) for a project at work, and I'm starting to get a feel for it. I've been trying to experiment with adding a domain, but it's been giving me errors when I have to specify the hosting type.
The request body itself is as follows:
{
"name":"example.com",
"hosting_type":"virtual",
"description":"Description goes here"
}
This gets the following cryptic response:
{
"code": 1014,
"message": "htype\/vrt_hst is specified but there is no hosting\/vrt_hst"
}
Per the documentation provided at /api/v2/swagger.yml, any of the following values should be allowed: virtual, standard_forwarding, frame_forwarding, none
No matter what I put in, however, I get a variant of the response above (htype\/{type} is specified but there is no hosting\/{type}).
At this point I'm kind of stuck; I'm not sure what to check, and any references when I try to look up the error code go to references on Plesk's XML API instead. What's the missing link here needed to get the request to work?
It looks like system user is not specified - hosting_settings. Try to add domain with full json request. Here is example:
{
"name": "example.com",
"description": "My website",
"hosting_type": "virtual",
"hosting_settings": {
"ftp_login": "test_login",

Error "Empty speech response"

I tried to connect DialogFlow and Actions on Google, so I created some intents, connected the services, added explicit and implicit invocations etc, but when I try the bot in the simulator https://console.actions.google.com/project/[projectId]/simulator/ it always gives me the error:
"Failed to parse Dialogflow response into AppResponse, exception
thrown with message: Empty speech response"
even tough inputType was "KEYBOARD".
What I tried so far:
I did set "Response from this tab will be sent to the Google Assistant integration" in Dialog Flow (do you have to set it for every single intent?), but I don't see any extra setting for speech.
I disabled the second language, first I had also intents in German
I also turned off the Fullfillment Webhook (implemented in API v1 and then also v2) with no change
I only found this user with the same problem https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/dialogflow/xYjKlz31yW0;context-place=topicsearchin/dialogflow/Empty$20speech$20response but no resolution.
the fulfillment checkbox is checked at the intents
The bot works fine when I use it through "Try it now" on the very right in Dialog Flow or in the Web Demo https://bot.dialogflow.com/994dda8b-4849-4a8a-ab24-c0cd03b5f420
Unfortunately the docs don't say anything about this error. Any ideas?
Here a screenshot of the error on the Actions integration:

ps.
It took me AGES to figure out, what
"Query pattern is missing for custom intent"
means - so I just document it here: In Dialog Flow - Intent - "User says" you have to DOUBLE CLICK on a word in the text input field when you want to set it as query parameter - which seems to be required for Actions on Google.
This happened to me. If this happens for an Intent you just added in the Dialogflow console and you are using Webhook fulfillment for the action, check the intent's fulfillment settings and ensure that the Webhook fulfillment slider is on. Evidently new intents don't automatically get webhook fulfillment: you have to opt each one in piecemeal (or at least, that was my experience).
I experienced this situation too.
My problem was that I used a SimpleResponse in my fulfillment index.js without referencing to it. So the solution for me was to add SimpleResponse like this in index.js:
const {dialogflow, SimpleResponse} = require('actions-on-google');
So, always check if you aren't using any dependencies without including it in your js-file.
Probably not the most common cause of the problem, but it can be.
I got this when running through the codelabs tutorial (https://codelabs.developers.google.com/codelabs/actions-1/index.html#4) and didn't name my intent the same name as it is referenced in the webhook script:
I came across this error when trying to develop my own WebHook. I first verified that my code was called by looking into the Nginx log, after which I knew there was a problem in my JSON output because I based my output on outdated examples.
The (up-to-date) documentation for both V1 and V2 of the API can be found here:
https://dialogflow.com/docs/fulfillment/how-it-works
This example response for v2 of the dialogflow webhook API helped me to resolve this error:
{
"payload": {
"google": {
"expectUserResponse": true,
"richResponse": {
"items": [
{
"simpleResponse": {
"textToSpeech": "this is a simple response"
}
}
]
}
}
}
}
Source: https://github.com/dialogflow/fulfillment-webhook-json/blob/master/responses/v2/ActionsOnGoogle/RichResponses/SimpleResponse.json
You can find more examples in the official github repository linked above.
Another possibility is if you have a text response (even an empty one) like so:
Then you need to click the trash can next to the response to clear it out to use the webhook.
The Actions on Google support helped me fix this problem:
I needed to add a text as Default Response to the intent used for Explicit Invocation.

Google Fit REST API - dataStreamId with whitespace results in error

I want to use Google's REST API to get the Fitness data of my account. To do so i issue 2 subsequent calls.
GET https://www.googleapis.com/fitness/v1/users/me/dataSources. This returns a list of all available dataSources as in [1].
POST https://www.googleapis.com/fitness/v1/users/me/dataset:aggregate.
I use the dataType name and dataStreamId in the request body from [1] to build the request body [2].
The problem: The second call returns an error [3] for all dataSourceIds that contain whitespace although they were returned exactly that way in the first request. In the code sample there is whitespace because the dataSourceId contains the phone model "Nexus 5". If there is no whitespace, the request succeeds without errors.
I already tried replacing the space by something else ("%20" or "_" or "+") but nothing helped. Is this a bug in the API or am i doing something fundamentally wrong?
Thanks in advance!
Edit 1:
btw i am using Google's oauth-playground with all the fitness scopes selected.
https://developers.google.com/oauthplayground/
Edit 2:
In code sample [2] i used the wrong dataTypeName. Was "activity_confidence" but should be "com.google.activity.samples".

Did you try using a escape character like '\'?
Your data stream ID would look like
derived:com.google.activity.samples:com.google.android.gms:LGE:Nexus\ 5:c80045fc:detailed

Actions on Google simulator not using SDK version 2

I'm currently working with an action package that declares it will handle the following intents:
actions.intent.MAIN
actions.intent.TEXT
actions.intent.OPTION
I've started with the first two, and proxying this to my own NLP/response gathering I'm able to get basic functionality working. I'm now trying to move forward with showing the user lists using askWithList. My Action Package is defined as follows:
{
"actions": [
{
"name": "MAIN",
"fulfillment": {
"conversationName": "JamesTest"
},
"intent": {
"name": "actions.intent.MAIN"
}
},
{
"name": "TEXT",
"fulfillment": {
"conversationName": "JamesTest"
},
"intent": {
"name": "actions.intent.TEXT"
}
},
{
"name": "OPTION",
"fulfillment": {
"conversationName": "JamesTest"
},
"intent": {
"name": "actions.intent.OPTION"
}
}
],
"conversations": {
"JamesTest": {
"name": "JamesTest",
"url": "myngrok"
}
}
}
When I try to respond with askWithList and test in the simulator I get the following error:
{
"name": "ResponseValidation",
"subDebugEntry": [{
"name": "MalformedResponse",
"debugInfo": "expected_inputs[0].possible_intents[0]: intent 'actions.intent.OPTION' is only supported for version 2 and above."
}]
}
Per the documentation my understanding was that all projects created after May 17 2017 would be using version 2 SDK by default. I also cannot seem to find any indication that I would be able to explicitly declare what version I would like to use in the Action Package definition.
Has anyone run into this? Is this just a limitation of the simulator, or am I missing something obvious?
It looks as though there is an undocumented (at least I can't find it) field in the conversations block called fulfillmentApiVersion that must be set to 2 in your actions package. Answer sourced from here: askWithList on Actions on Google
You're missing something not in the least bit obvious. {: The documentation for this is somewhat hidden and the gactions command still generates a version 1 json file.
The action package must explicitly indicate the version that it is using, otherwise it will be assumed to be using version 1.
To specify version 2, your "conversations" section should look something like:
"conversations": {
"JamesTest": {
"name": "JamesTest",
"url": "myngrok",
"fulfillmentApiVersion": 2
}
}
Note the "fulfillmentApiVersion" parameter.
