I have a project where I need to add a few lines to one of the generated C files. However, the place where I want to add the change does not have a "USER CODE BEGIN / END" section. So whenever, I regenerate code, the changes are overwritten. I tried adding my own user code section as shown below but even that got overwritten. It seems, CubeMX is looks for a predefined set of USER CODE blocks, and overwrites everything else.
/* USER CODE BEGIN 8 */
/* USER CODE END 8 */
I would like to be able to define my own user code blocks so that I can write custom code in places where CubeMX has not already provided a user code block.
Adding custom user code sections is not supported by CubeMX.

I have documented my code with doxygen. The generated docs consist of:
a page with the documentation as I put between /** ... */, and
a page with the source-code itself (without the documentation between /** ... */).
Now my question is: Is there a way to generate links such that one can reach the page with the source code opened on the relevant line directly from the documentation?
To show visually what I would like to obtain:
I would like to have a button "Go to source" (shown in red, decorated with an arrow just for here).
Which would land me on the right line of the source code (possibly with a highlight, as shown here).
The following option does exactly that:
SOURCE_BROWSER = YES

I'm working on a Squarespace website in developer mode where I can create the website with code.
In the file site.region, I noticed that I can insert a footer block using this code:
<squarespace:block-field id="footerBlocksMiddle" class="Footer-blocks Footer-blocks--middle sqs-alternate-block-style-container" columns="12" label="{localizedStrings.footerMiddleBlocks}" />
However, I haven't been able to figure out how to insert a form block preferably so that I can set it as email storage.
I tried <squarespace:block-form but that does not work.
The error looks like this on the squarespace configuration page:
"Something went wrong."
How do I write out this code?
What's actually going on in the footer code you mentioned, is that a block field is being inserted. Within that block field, you can add whatever blocks in whatever arrangement you like.
So to accomplish your goal, you'll insert a block field and then add only a form block to it. Then, in other places where you want that form block to appear, you add the block field (containing the form block) into the code.
As long as you use the same id, the same block field will be reused, allowing you to edit the form in whatever area you happen to be in, and changes will affect everywhere else the block field was placed.
<squarespace:block-field id="myFormOnlyBlockField" columns="1"/>
Place that where you want the form block to appear. Of course, initially, you have to add the form block to it and configure it. From then on, adding the code above throughout your site template will show the form, and changing any instance of the block will affect all instances.
Note that I've set 'columns' to '1' in the example above, figuring that you're just adding a single block so no need to have more columns. you could set it to something else and it'd work just as well. Also note that the areas where you add the block field might have a bit too much spacing/padding/margin around it, so you may need to CSS to adjust for that.
Alternatively, it is possible to execute JavaScript within a code block to make an AJAX/Fetch request to the page with the form block on it, and have that form block replace the code block within which the JavaScript is executed. Such an approach would work even without developer mode.
I am trying to make a form textbox in PowerShell in which I can paste data into the first textbox and have it auto populate to several other fields when I hit Tab.
I managed to get that part working fine, but the various validation steps that those other fields normally have don't work when filled out in this way.
Here's a sample of what I am talking about:
$InputTextBox.Add_Validating(CODE SEGMENT 1)
$DescriptionTextBox.Add_Validating(CODE SEGMENT 2)
$SplitComboBox.Add_Validating(CODE SEGMENT 3)
Is there anything I can put in CODE SEGMENT 1 to trigger CODE SEGMENT 2 and CODE SEGMENT 3 to run as well? Is there another way to do this with a different approach?
Edit:
When I tab out of $inputTextBox, it splits up the input there and distributes it to the other fields with $DescriptionTextBox.Text = $Description and $SplitComboBox.SelectedItem = $Split.
When that is done though, the values entered do not trigger the contents of Add_Validating() to run.
I have been attempting to create a form where a user can simply press a button and the form will add a new field for the user to use. I have 2 of these dynamically added field types.
Firstly a field where a user can upload files, by pressing the add button another field is pasted underneath the current field and is ready for use.
I have followed an old guide on how to get this done with a bit of ajax and jQuery.
This guide to be exact: http://www.jeremykendall.net/2009/01/19/dynamically-adding-elements-to-zend-form/
As you can see it's from 2009 and a bit outdated yet it still works under the current Zend Framework version 1.11.11
The problem however arises now that i want an edit / update version of the form. I need to populate it's fields but first of all i need to create enough fields for the data to be stored in. So when there's 3 files that have been uploaded it should create 2 additional fields and place the 3 file names in these fields ready to be edited and updated. Simply using $form->populate($stuff) is not going to work
I just have no idea how to accomplish this and the tutorial on dynamically added fields only goes as far as the addAction and not how to create the editAction under these conditions.
Is there any tutorial out there on how to create and manage forms such as these? I'm sure i am not the only one who's had the idea to builds these kind of forms?
I can add my code if there's a request for it but it's the same as the example from the guide, just a different set of elements in the form.
Adding a small example of it's use.
A user adds an item with 3 files, these files are uploaded along with a filename so in the database it appears like this : File_Id : '1' , File_Name : 'SomeFile' , File_location : 'somewhere/on/my/pc/SomeFile.txt'.
Now the user realizes he forgot a file or wants to delete a file from that list, he goes to the edit page and here i want the form to display the previously added filenames. So if there's 3 files it shows 3 and when there's 2 it shows 2 etc. How do i build a form to dynamically add fields based on the number of uploaded files and then populate them?
Any advice on how to handle this is well appreciated :)
You can make use of the semi-magic setXxx() methods of the form.
Inside the form:
public function setFiles($files) {
foreach ($files as $file) {
$this->addElement(/* add a file element */);
//do other stuff, like decorators to show the file name, etc.
}
}
In your controller:
$files = $model->getFiles();
$form = new Form_EditFiles(array('files' => $files));
By passing an array with key files you will make the form try to call the method named setFiles(), which you have conveniently provided above.
This should push you in the right direction, or so I hope at least.
If I understand you correctly you want to populate file upload fields, which is not possible because of security reasons.
Edit:
You can add Elements inside of the Controller via $form->addElement() (basicly just like the $this->addElement() statements in the Tutorial)
Here's something I don't know if it's possible, but here's my question:
My jQuery application has dynamically added entry fields. For example, a button "Add New Customer" adds a new entry form after the current one. So far, so good!
However, I find myself needing to add the mask functions I want to every newly created field, like this:
$("#customer_zipcode\\["+customerCount+"\\]).zipcodeMask(....);
zipcodeMask(...) is just an example function that checks to make sure the user's entered a correct zip code. Other similar masks for phone numbers, credit cards, etc. This part works great, but I have to set it for every newly created element I want to have a zip code mask.
I thought it would be awesome if there was something like .live() that could do the .zipcodeMask() call for every future instance of the zip code field.
I thought I'd make a class, such as "UseZipCodeMask", and do something like class="UseZipCodeMask" in every input field that needs a zip code mask.
When I do this:
$(".UseZipCodeMask").zipcodeMask(....);
This works fine - for every existing element that has this class. If I create a new field with this class, it's doesn't have the .zipcodeMask(...) function working.
Is there a way to make my zip code fields get .zipcodeMask(...) automatically set for it? It would clean up the code a bit, there's a lot of code that adds .zipcodeMask() and other related functions every time some new input fields are created.
Thanks very much!
What jquery version are you using?
You can use .delegate which means you would not have to "add the plugin" to newly created elements.
